FIGURE SKATING HISTORY IN JANESVILLE
Janesville Ice Arena was one of the premiere figure skating training centers in the world from the mid 70's-mid 80's.  USA and International skaters came to train here because of the excellent coaching staff.
The skaters dominated regionals and mid western competitions as well as earning National and World titles and skaters in the 1976, 1980 and 1984 Olympics such as Brian Boitano and Paul Wylie.
