Benefits of Membership

  • Figure Skating Shows

    • Spice on Ice

      • Solo Performance - this is reserved for club members only (limit of one solo performance per skater - adult skaters based on time availability)

      • Group Performance - typically placed with other club members and will be working with one of our certified USFSA coaches (Skaters that bring in a sponsorship will have fees waived, other skaters will have to pay a fee - group performances are limited to members 18 and under)

      • Opening Number - (if there is one in the show) club members have the option to participate in the opening number performance

      • Light a Candle/Closing Number - club members only

    • Ice Royalty

      • Solo performance for ice royalty, no additional charge for members to participate in this show (adult skaters based on time availability)

      • Duets/Small Group performances will be based on coach discretion which can include skaters not feeling comfortable performing a solo routine, graduating high school seniors, skaters that are competing duo/trio or ensemble routines and would like to showcase their performance during a home show prior to competing in a higher stress environment

    • Trunk or Treat/Halloween Event

    • Halloween Themed Skate

    • Valentine Exchange

    • Secret Santa Party

    • US Figure Skating Competition Watch Party

    • Annual Figure Skating Banquet

  • US Figure Skating Benefits

    • Certificates of accomplishment for passing proficiency tests and placing at U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competitions (athletes)

    • Subscription to SKATING magazine

    • Individually numbered membership card

    • Coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's secondary sports accident insurance policy

  • Other Benefits

    • US Figure Skating Testing for skating skills and freestyle

    • Possibility to compete at US Figure Skating competitions as a Janesville Figure Skating Club Member

    • $135 (10 punch pass) Freestyle price for each session is $13.50 (compared to the Madison area ice arenas, this is roughly 40% cheaper) 

      • $16 rate for walk on freestyle session (this is if you choose not to purchase the punch pass)
